One of the first CASA programs implemented within a tribal court, the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa & Chippewa Indians CASA began advocating for children in 1995. The tribal court jurisdiction covers the counties of Antrim, Benzie, Charlevoix, Grand Traverse, Leelanau, and Manistee, offering culturally sensitive services to its affiliated members.
